  1. In a large, deep skillet over medium heat, add all ingredients.
  2. Stir well. Bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove lid and remove from heat. Stir well. Top with shredded cheese. Cover with lid for 10 more minutes to allow the residual heat to melt cheese.
